Inspiring the next Market Leaders through AFODI's High School Entrepreneurship Programs

AFODI is committed to nurturing Uganda’s young talent by promoting entrepreneurial education. By investing knowledge in the future leaders of our country and continent, we are helping to build a vibrant, prosperous society. 

We are dedicated to empowering Uganda’s youth with entrepreneurial skills through our High School Entrepreneurship Programs. This initiative involves organizing engaging visits to high schools across Uganda, training, and donating essential entrepreneurship books to support students’ learning. Our aim is to cultivate a passion for entrepreneurship among young students, equipping them with the skills and mindset needed to drive economic growth in Uganda and Africa.

Our programs reach a significant portion of Uganda’s youthful population, which comprises approximately 78% of the country’s demographics. In Uganda, there are over 10 million students currently enrolled in secondary education. Given this vast number, instilling an entrepreneurial spirit at an early age is crucial for fostering innovation and economic development.

Through interactive sessions and real-world insights during our school visits, students gain practical knowledge about entrepreneurship, business planning, and market strategies. The donated books serve as valuable resources, providing students with in-depth understanding and guidance on starting and managing their own ventures.

The anticipated outcomes of the High School Entrepreneurship Programs include:
